Alright, I know he's a kid just out of high school but the Cubs really need to make Tyler Alamo shut down his Twitter account or at least give him a talking to: https://twitter.com/TylerAlamo_

Constant indirect tweets about girls breaking his heart and him being miserable etc etc.

Yeah...that's not good.

The fact that you follow a 19 year old on twitter could be the problem. Just saying.

I was listening on the radio and the guy from BP was talking about Baez and he said there are a couple scouts out there that actually rank him the #1 prospect in baseball ahead of Buxton.  They said he has HOF talent.  Would be really nice if he could develop into a perennial all-star.  The future looks good for this team, but unfortunately, it is still a few years away.

Jason Parks has said that a few times.

I guess it's about time we foist all of our hopes, dreams and extraordinarily lofty expectations up on lil' Javier so when he falls short we can all cruicify him.
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

Seconded. Any new business?

Or just blame Hendry for drafting him.

The nice thing is these guys are much more highly regarded than Pie or Patterson.  Crazy to think those two were considered our "studs" at one point.

I follow most all of the Cubs prospects. I don't know what's weird about that. Usually they actually have some good Cubs related stuff on there.

And most everyone is following a 19-year-old in Albert Almora.

Yeah it was Parks. He has Baez as his No. 4 overall prospect but has said he thinks if anything that's too low. He has the Cubs' system as No. 2 overall.

No. 17- Kris Bryant

No. 25- Albert Almora

No. 45- Jorge Soler

No. 91- Pierce Johnson

Didn't realize that Parks had us as number 2.  Who is his number 1, the Twins?

I don't follow any athletes. Especially young ones. If they say something newsworthy it will just be regurgitated by a blogger or sportswriter. I understand why you follow them since you do write about that stuff. I was just making the point that 19 year old kids say stupid things because they aren't mature enough to know better. I wouldn't get that concerned about it.

And since you're a Colorado St fan you should follow Chane Behanan on instagram. You'll be shaking your head quite frequently.
