Heard in WSCR that Logan Watkins is getting called up after Borbon was DFA'd and Valbuena to the DL. Interesting choice.

Indeed. His BA is approaching .260 now and his OBP is almost at a respectable level. Another couple of weeks like these and he'll be right on target. Shit, the OPS alone is already at an elite level, so no surprise that the other stats are catching up too.
Oh, and Brett Jackson is only hitting .240 at AA.

And he's been getting a bunch of opposite field hits lately. Love that the kid is apparently adjusting when he struggles and appears to be teachable.
