2022 Team

Apparently no matter what move the Cubs make these days, Desipio plans to shit on it. Must be fun being a fan of a team in his world.

He really does take an odd approach to fandom.

Used to think he was hilarious.  I realize the Ricketts family sucks, but if you hate this team so much...at what point do you just stop following them?   I've noticed a sizeable contingent of Cubdom that has now taken that approach.

Yeah he's turned into a one-note song the last few years.

Yeah, and their podcast is an excruciating listen too. I'm not sure why Andy keeps going if literally nothing sports-related brings him any joy.

Pretty much, cause it's a Bears thing too.

Here's a question. Is there some way I can purchase the entire 2016 season somewhere? From Game 1 all the way through to the end. I have the Blu Ray of the World Series, which also comes with the NLCS clincher. But I want everything. There has to be a way to get this, right?

Tribune used to offer the write ups from every game including the playoffs in a write up but I’ve never seen a dvd or download of the 2016 season. Still have every ticket stub from Cubs wins - excluding the Sunday Works Series game - the only game in the series that the Cubs won.

It would be fun to watch the entire 2016 playoffs again. And maybe some key/fun/exciting victories from the 2016 regular season.

Was just coming to post this.  This is a pretty solid move.

Yeah, he's a pretty reasonable add at only $10mm. That said, this had better not be our big SP acquisition.

Just looking at stats, he would have been our best starter by far this past season. I hope he's healthy.

Or is 2022 Miley a warmed over 2021 Zach Davies - an ex Brewer who shits the bed when he joins the Cubs?

I’m all for the pick up as Cubs need to add 3-4 legitimate starters, and at $10 MM, Wade works well for the roster.
