MLB needs to re-examine its rules for callups. This goofy-ass charade that teams do isn't fooling anyone and is just pissing off players. Hopefully it'll be in the next CBA.

I guess you'd have to structure it so the FO has no incentive to keep an MLB-ready player on the farm. Who decides when a player is ready? What if the player is blocked? It all had to be restructured on the team's side, so that there's no gain or loss of control influencing when a player is deemed to be able to help the MLB roster. You could tip it too far and have teams rushing players up to showcase trade pieces.
