When I was still learning about baseball, I tried the White Sox (but I didn't inhale).  So, I actually got to see Lamar Hoyt pitch a one-hitter live.  Didn't realize that he had a perfect game going until the 6th or so,  Too much beer and we had forgotten if he hadn't walked anyone or not.

After Sox gave him a $3.5 MM contract in off season. He's was injured for a good portion of last season. WTF?
