It's because of all the whining about inter-league play. Can you imagine a Bulls fan saying "I can't fucking <i>believe</i> we have to play the Lakers this year! What kind of bullshit is that? They're not in the Eastern Conference!"
In every sport, there is intermingling of leagues/conferences.
I <i>get</i> the fact that the typical modern White Sock fan tends to be dick. And it sucks that they won a World Series in '05. But we still have to play 'em.

There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
