We're told a tiebreaker is in place should the teams split the six games 3-3. While the teams surely have more questions to answer, we thought we'd give them some ideas on the kind of trophy they might want to play for.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> Oh, and I fucking hate the Crosstown series. I didn't think it was possible to hate it more, but this does it. Cubs-White Sox Announcement? - Butcher - 04-26-2010 Unfuckingreal. This thing is going in the wrong direction. Cubs-White Sox Announcement? - Scarey - 04-26-2010 I have to admit, playing IU every year for the Old Oaken Bucket makes it more interesting. That being said, IU/Purdue is a rivalry where as Cubs/Sox should not be. Casual fans for both sides are going to love this. The first time the White Sox get hold of that trophy though, you know you'll be hearing about it every time you leave the house with a Cubs hat on. It will definitely generate even more of a buzz. It's smart from a strictly business point of view. They shouldn't -- it's fucking meaningless and stupid. Would the Yankees/Mets ever do anything this fucking moronic? Dodgers/Angels? They wouldn't. What will make it even more idiotic is if the Cubs and Sox are both under .500 when this series rolls around. Yay! Both of our teams suck, but we won the "tallest midget" trophy! Huzzah!
