That's true, I know that sucks. And I was serious about the effects of growing up in central IL, I do think it's made me way less sensitive or at least used to other fans giving me shit.

I can be sensitive about certain things, but a Sox fan making fun of me or the Cubs is not one of them for whatever reason. When I do run into such Sox fans and they give me shit, I just give them a blank stare and shrug. They usually will press me and ask why it doesn't bother me and I just give them the live and let live attitude. It's at that point that they feel like assholes and I'm pleased with myself.
