Cubs-White Sox Announcement?

I don't like the idea much because I think a trophy is a little amatuerish, but I agree, this is no big deal. I actually like the Cubs/Sox series. I hate losing to the Sox when that happens, but it makes for some more exciting games. You need that when it feels a like you've played the Pirates two dozen times and there's another series in Pittsburgh coming up. As long as there's not some sort of weird awards ceremony I think it's fine. It works in college sports, you just gotta be careful not to look childish with it in the pros.

I guess one test for the idea will be if the Yanks/Mets, Giants/A's, etc. also do this down the line...
