There's a marked difference between saying "Bradley was traded because he didn't produce," and saying the minimum needed to be truthful and to diffuse Bradley's venom.
"Milton's claims are bogus. Milton needs to look in the mirror. It didn't work out with Milton and the Cubs. We made a mistake in signing him, we traded him, good luck to him."
Is it really that hard?
