The signings they've made along with the roster they've retained set them currently over $162 mil for 2010 before arbitration.
It must be nice to be able to throw $18.7 mil a year at Lackey, who's probably a #2 or #3 pitcher.
I almost dislike them as much as the Yankees these days.
