Red Sox Signings - Andy - 01-22-2010 The signings they've made along with the roster they've retained set them currently over $162 mil for 2010 before arbitration. It must be nice to be able to throw $18.7 mil a year at Lackey, who's probably a #2 or #3 pitcher. I almost dislike them as much as the Yankees these days. There is no reason why we couldn't be the NL equivalent of those powerhouses. We should be, year in and year out. |
