Personally, I would be very happy with a good glove and an OBP of .350 out of our centerfielder. I think Fuld can do that. Add in a right handed hitter to face tough lefties like Reed or Rocco Baldelli and I think we could get some good production from center field.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Sam Fuld shouldn't be a legitimate option -- not even as part of a platoon. He's a 4th OFer, at best.

I want to hear what you and anyone else legitimately think Fuld's OBP would be over the course of this upcoming season if he is platooning from the left side in center field.

I don't think there's any reason to believe, if properly platooned, he couldn't put up a .350 OBP next year, and play plus defense.

A platoon between him and a healthy Reed Johnson, for example, is a FAR FAR FAR preferable option to signing Marlon Byrd to a multi-year deal.
