I don't see why anyone would have a problem with Theriot as the everyday 2b, but I'm surprised Hendry is happy with him at SS. I guess it's a case of not having the money to do anything about it. Baker may or may not work out well as a super-sub type guy, but he deserves a shot, I think. Blanco IS a nice option as a defensive replacement and spot starter. However, the fact that Hendry still has any hope for Fontenot or Miles especially makes me wonder if he had a hemorrhage in the part of his brain that he uses to evaluate middle infielders.
