Grabow made $2.3 M last year. He is a type A free agent and offering him arbitration will take his salary to $3.5 - $4 M or more. There's nothing wrong with the proposed contract, if it's as actually stated here.

If we offer him arbitration, the WORST case scenario is we get him for the contract discussed and just ONE year.
