Do you guys think there is something to the poll of "which manager would you least like to play for?". Maybe Lou doesn't have the all the players behind him. Right or wrong it is easier to try and change the manager than 5-6 players.
A couple things that he has done that have me thinking he has lost it are 1)the philly game were he let Marmol load the bases on walks and then walk in a run against a lefty when Grabow was ready. Next lefty Grabow k's on 3 pitches we lose by 1. 2) when he walked out to change pitchers only nobody was warming up.
Theriot is not a very smart player. You would think a guy that gets by on the small things in the game would have a high IQ. Example: Even though the play was called dead he throws the ball home after it drops. We were up 2 he had an easy force out at second, but he throws home and had no chance even if the play would have counted. The grounder to his right with runners on 1st and 2nd he throws across his body and luckly gets a break on a bad call by the umpire. Why would he not take the lead runner as he is going to second? SS should be looked at in the offseason.
