I'd say there are more overpriced contracts that have worked out then haven't. That's the price you have to pay to get the best players to play for you. There's no way we would have got Soriano if we were offering 3 years or if we weren't willing to give him a NTC.

In my mind the Soriano contract has not worked out. And it will only get worse from here. Just saying.
