All shutouts are complete games. There is no such thing as a non complete game shutout. Sorry to be a prick, but this is one of my pet peeves and Soriano has me pissed off.

I think he means 9 shutout innings, as opposed to shutting them out for 7 or 8 or whatever, and then having a reliever come in, prick.

I know what he meant, but by saying shutout you are implying complete game. No need to say it twice. Again, sorry to be a prick.
