It isn't a done deal, and it won't happen.

But I honestly wish it would. Peavy isn't going to save their season and it would be great if they unloaded their top prospects to get him.

I completely agree. This will be a bad trade if they give away a top prospect or 2 and then Peavy gets lit up in the AL.

I just brought it up because 2 of these guys high-fived each other right in front of me and were all giddy about it. It all sounded like BS to me.

They acted as if there was no doubt that another WS was coming their way as a result of the trade. Unfreakingbelievable.

It just turned my stomach for a second. I've only been on the job for 2+ weeks and already I'm surrounded by Cards fans to my right and Sox fans behind me.
