As I said last time:
Miami=hot ghetto
Miami Beach=splendid paradise

Have a good time, Butch. Bring us home a victory.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I thought Miami Beach was the most overrated strip of land I've ever walked on. It probably had a little to do with the weather and other things, but I don't plan on ever being there again to find out.

If we had a super secret club quote of the week, I'd nominate this one.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

Agreed. I had a great time there once in the early 2000's but then went back twice since then and now it blows.

I was there during a Freaknik, which made it even that much more crowded.

I will also be @ the game tomorrow. I am in Miami in vacation and my fiance's dad just suprised me.

I'll be there with my baby blue throwback jersey.

No...700 fans at the whole game.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

I'm tired and need to go to bed because I have a flight in the morning. I have a lot to say about this experience, but I'll keep it brief for now.

- the most frustrating win I've ever seen
- I can sort of see why a lot of people dislike Cubs fans. There were a lot of obnoxious assholes in the crowd tonight. It was a little embarrassing.
- the Marlins PA system plays a goat sound effect after each Cub is announced before their at bat. Douchebags.
- the seats were fantastic
- I saw at least four near-fights and one Cubs fan get escorted out of the park by three ballpark security cops. Way to represent, dick.

Good night.

The goat goad and beer...two ingredients for keeping things civil. Be sure you read through the game thread when you get back. We shared your pain.

I watched for you on television, I thought it would be easy to see someone in a clown suit.
