The obvious solution to this completely predicable injury would be to have paid 5.5 million dollars to a sprightly youngster, like the 34 year old DeRosa, and plant his ass on the bench to await Ramirez's inevitable breakdown.
Seriously, anyone who didn't see this freak injury resulting in Ramirez's (probable) longest stint on the DL in his career coming from a mile away, is living with blinders on.
