That raises two questions in my mind:
1.) Is that just puffery? After all, these guys are technically spare parts at the moment. I love both of them, but they're spare parts.
2.) Would you guys hold onto them no matter what?
Like I said, I think they're hugely valuable, but if they are a necessary part of a deal for Peavy or a bat, it has to be done.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
This has to be positioning. I can't imagine either of those guys being untouchable. I think they are both important role players for the team, but if we can get something in return for them that will have a bigger impact on the team, then I'm sure we'd do it.

Yep, what he said. Marshall is a tweener. A lefty out of the pen that can fill in as a starter if needed. Fontenot is a utility guy that can only really play 2B.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No, no, no, Fontenot is one of the best fielding 2B out there, Scarey and KB say so.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
He's awesome at shortstop too
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I would never make such a ridiculous claim.
And soy milk tastes like terrible.
