Great article with full references to support my case that things aren't nearly as bad as the government has been spinning it.
-Pay particular attention to the section titled Growth, where reference to GDP comparisons are made about the current state of affairs vs the 70's. A fact that I illustrated earlier at the start.
My thinking is that the source shouldn't be shunned considering CNBC is owned by GE, Immelt being on Obama's advisory board, and isn't "spinning" things in my side of the fence.
One disclaimer however, I am a GE shareholder.

Word on the law blogs is that my firm is laying off 200 people tomorrow. I'm scared, and it has nothing to do with what Obama is saying.
Oh, and as a capper, if I lose my job, I will eventually run out of health insurance. A year after having open heart surgery. If I lose my job, and can't find another in a tough economy, it's possible I could lose my house. Then I can listen to buttfuckers like Rick Santelli explain how he doesn't want to have to take care of "losers" like me.

I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.
