I guess I just don't understand why it is such a big deal that he is a Sox fan and that the Sox are taking advantage of it. It has no bearing whatsoever on the Cubs franchise and their play on the field.

It will pass. Of course we're gonna hear a lot about it during the President's honeymoon period. It's hard to expect everyone on this site to have complete self control and to not post this stuff. That's asking a lot IMO. Give it time. No one will care in a year.
