about a week ago. I think he's on steroids.
But BT, I don't know how to say this more clearly than I've been saying it for 10 consecutive months now: I'm pleased as punch with the current state of the Cubs, I enjoyed the hell out of last season, I've given Jim props and even outright praise throughout the 2008 season, and I look forward to a successful 2009.
I mean, my freaking tagline on every single one of my posts is:
2009 will be mighty fine.
Does that sound like the tagline of the bitter, doom-n-gloom fucker you paint me as?
KB, I'm not saying you are being unrealistically pessimistic. I am saying you are being unfair. If you were to say "The Cubs are going to win the World Series in 2009, no thanks to Hendry" that would be both optimistic AND unfair.

I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.
