You can't give up all 3 of those plus 2-3 more prospects to get Peavy when the Padres don't really have any other team as an option as a trade partner.

Like I said, I don't think it will take that much. Say other teams are interested then. Would I give up those players to get Jake Peavy? Absolutely.

I agree, but it works out for us that the Padres aren't dealing from a position of power.
