At least Fox pounded the ball. Marmol was Marmol for 2 innings.
You'd think Guzman, Cedeno and Pie would do a whole lot better than those numbers, especially considering the competition.
Rich Hill....sigh.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I think Cedeno's and Pie's numbers look pretty good.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Pie's strike out/walk rate doesn't look good but does it really matter. Fox puts up very good numbers but he will likely only be a call up every now and then. It's like when Fuld put up gaudy numbers in a league and every one thought he might actually be a prospect and challenge for the starting job a couple of years ago.

If Pie ends up getting traded, I really hope Fuld gets a chance to beat out Gathright in spring training. Hell, I would hope he gets a chance anyway even thought Pie would go to waivers if one of those two were to beat him out (unlikely).

I hope he doesn't beat Gathright out though. We're going to find Gathright's speed very useful all the time. I don't think he's going to start all that much over Fuk/Reed though, and neither would Fuld. However, we could still use Gathright's speed on a nightly basis.
