Soriano gets a lot of assists too. That doesn't mean he is a good fielder.

Yeah. Ibanez has 30 assists over the last 3 years, and he's a bad outfielder as well. Hell, Pat Burrell led LF's in assists with 12 last year. Ask the Philly fans how good he was in the outfield. Those throws are nice, but the plays they fuck up or can't get to over the year are the bigger deal.

Anyway, Abreu apparently wants 16 million and he's nuts. I wouldn't give him over 10 million.
