Hak-Ju Lee and Starlin Castro are both SS, correct? It's a shame that Lee is so error-prone: I had heard that he was a plus fielder, but I guess that observation was based entirely on his arm (which is supposed to be a Dunston-like cannon).
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The reports is that he is an above average fielder with the potential to be excellent. He has a cannon arm with great range. Just needs some work on the finer details on fielding such as footwork.

Kid's not even 19 yet. He and Castro are pretty incredible in that regard. Have you seen pictures of Castro? He looks like he's a tween.

Iowa went in the shitter the past week plus to blow the opportunity for post season play. From 6 games over and tied for first to 500 and 5 games out in the span of a week.

I've recently heard explanations on why players in the minors, especially the lower levels, tend to make lots of errors. In many cases, they are correcting some sort of flaw in their mechanics and it hasn't become clockwork to field correctly. Also, I've heard the fields in the lower levels are complete shit and fielders have to deal with terrible bounces all the time.
From what I know, you put almost no stock into errors in the lower minors.

Tennessee wins their division for the 2nd half. They and Peoria will be the 2 playoff teams in the system.

Since today is the last game for Iowa, I would assume that it was a one game thing
It does bode well for him potential starting out their next season and shows that he is out of the "doghouse"

Ha. I guess I just meant, I wonder if this was a true promotion, or if they were just doing it so they could get him another start. So yeah, your second point better states what I wonder: does this mean he definitely (at a minimum) starts out at Iowa next year?
