I'm pretty sure he already is.

After Holliday hit a two-run homer in the first to give the Cards a 2-0 lead, the Pirates went back to back off of Carpenter to tie it. Maybe Chrissy is due for a shit outing.

Pirates up 4-2. Doumit doubled and scored on a Delwyn Young double, and Young scored on a Steve Pearce single.
Going into the top of the 4th.
EDIT: Fuckhead DeRosa just went yard to make it 4-3. 8th homer in his last 16 games.

Fuck DeRo, he was overrated and juiced anyways. It's not like he has the manhood to perform in the postseason anyways.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Yeah? Well, Mike Fontenot has 9 homers in his last 99 games!

He was responsible for our only two runs in game one against the Dodgers. Just sayin'.

His error in Game 2 really set the tone also.

Bottom line: Yes DeRosa sucks balls, and we made a smart move by scuttling him for Aaron Miles.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Exactly. How could we go wrong with Miles?

I dunno, Fontenot is getting the at bats that DeRosa would have gotten, Miles is getting the at bats that Fontenot would have gotten had DeRosa still been here. Therefore, it seems that even though Fontenot took the starting spot from DeRosa, the actual replacement is Miles for DeRosa.
All that said, it really doesn't matter. I'd love to have DeRo still. Especially while ARam was out. But his absence is not going to be the difference in this team making or not making the playoffs.
