That just about says it all on this subject.

Ok. Let's just stop fucking talking. Wish someone would have said that in the whole Fontenot squeeze bunt situation.

We did multiple times. It had no effect. And butch was wrong.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Yep. I'd so much rather have in Gregg it's not even close. I can handle giving up homers. Throw 20 meatballs and not more than a couple are going to leave the yard. BUT FUCKING WALKS KILL YOU IN THE 9TH INNING.

I love you, Clapp. You're right on, as usual.

I was coming on to say the exact same thing. I'll live with the HR's, I can't handle the walks.

You know, I'm not sure if I agree with this. I mean, Marmol walks a ton of guys, but he also doesn't give up many hits or HRs....I mean, a walk isn't a guaranteed run, but a HR sure is.

I'm quite happy to be tied right now, as ugly as it's been. Still 2 less losses too. Keep looking at that number. Get to the last week when we face Pitt and AZ at Wrigley and we could be in pretty good shape.

Nobody knows what Gorz is going to give us tomorrow, but if we're hitting Cueto like we did last week, we might be alright. Winning that game would really get me feeling better. The Cards have to go to New York to face Johan too.

But it's not like it's easy to hit home runs, and when you're dealing with a 3 run lead, make them hit the ball. When you walk a couple guys like Marmol does, all it takes is one mistake then and boom, 3-run homer. I'll dare them to hit a few homers. But still, it's not like Gregg's been only throwing meatballs anyway. He had allowed just 9 hits and 1 homer in 16 innings coming into the last 2 games.

I haven't done the research but I would like to see how many 1 run games gregg has saved

And I mean coming into a game where the cubbies have a one run lead, not letting up a run and then we win by one
