Not quite the lineup the Reds envisioned on opening day. Let's get back in first place. I'm over yesterday. I went in expecting 1-2 in that series anyway, and thought the Cardinals were for sure going to win yesterday.

Do I go with ESPN or the Reds' broadcast? Those are my only options. I'm leaning Reds as much as I hate it, because ESPN will go on and on about us and the bullpen all game. I still haven't seen the homers yesterday and am doing everything possible to somehow avoid them forever.
Ah, first words out of the Reds' mouths are how we've apparently not won a world series in 100 years. The things you learn on other teams' broadcasts!

Earlier the Reds' guys said how the Cubs haven't played well since the break. They're 12-5, which as somebody pointed out to me is the best record in the NL in that time. Saturday was an ugly win, yesterday was about the most heartbreaking loss you can have, but let's not get carried the fuck away here. Give me a break.
