Milton Bradley sucks

"[Bradley] looks like he's a little frustrated with his at-bats," Soto said. "God knows, he wants to come in here and tear it up and help us win. The first two months, it is a grind and everybody knows he's trying 110 percent to get out of it. I have faith he'll come around."

Hendry expects the Cubs to put the incident behind them and move forward. He said other players on the team have had frustrating seasons -- Derrek Lee struggled in the first month, Mike Fontenot was batting .219 -- but they've always put the team first.

"All you want is for people to fight through their problems and stay with team goals," Hendry said. "That's not only what we expect, but that's what we demand."

Said Soriano: "Everybody gets frustrated here because we're not playing the way we're supposed to play."

But this isn't Bradley's first incident involving his temper. In his first at-bat at Wrigley Field on April 16, he was called out on strikes, argued the call, and was ejected.

"I think he's a great guy," Soriano said. "The only problem is his attitude sometimes in the game, I think a lot of people don't like that, but that's him."

"He's frustrated," Lee said of Bradley. "He's a guy who's had success and it's not working out and he's working his butt off. He's just waiting for it to click for him, and it isn't clicking. I'm sure it's frustrating.

I don't know. If Lee said something like that, I'd know it was coming from a place of sincerity and desire to do well for the fans and the team.

When Bradley says, I can't help but feel like he's just trying to be the victim.

I'm holding out hope that this is the kick in the ass that this team needs. Maybe this wakes people up. Especially Sori, Bradley, and Fontenot. In 2007 it took a blowup before the team started playing well, maybe this will have the same outcome. Afterall, as bad as we have played, we are still only 2.5 games out with HUGE games coming up against Milwaukee and St. Louis. There is the possibility that we have A-Ram back for some of those. IF, and it is a huge IF, this offense can get clicking then this division cannot come close to us. I hold out hope that that happens!

I haven't seen Dempster and Zambrano forget outs, struggle in every possible way, fail to fit into our lineup like we had hoped, keep a smug face on 24/7, and my list goes on and on. He could be content with his failures, and not throw tantrums, and I'd still want the motherfucker shipped to Pittsburgh.

I hated the signing, hated his attitude, his behaviour and his overrated hype that people gave him. But oh, his OPS was soo great last year. Well heck, I bet if Reed Johnson bat in front or behind Josh Hamilton, he would benefit too.

The guy is overrated, and has been a failure at every place he's been. He's been run out of Cleveland, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the list goes on. It's time to stick Fox and Hoffpauir in right and send this fucker on his way.

I think playing his home games at Arlington park and sporting a 1.145 ops there had more to do with leading the league in OPS than hitting in front Hamilton.
