Are you watching from the future?

I thought I was going nuts.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Am I the only one that still believes that Bradley is going to hit .300 with an OBP over .400 for us?

Well, to finish with those numbers, he'd have to stay pretty hot for the rest of the year. But he's capable, he's done it before, and it sure would be a pleasure to watch.

To get to a .300 avg in let's say 400 AB, the rest of the way Milton would need to hit .335.

Not sure if this has been posted... but...
QUOTE Bradley was in hot water with Cubs manager Lou Piniella and some of his teammates after he told the Tribune's Paul Sullivan that he thought umpires were out to get him because of the way he treated Larry Vanover back on April 16.
QUOTE As I watched the entire conversation take place, it re-enforced a point that I already knew: Bradley is his own worst enemy. He had no right to go after Sullivan, who, by all accounts, is one of the best baseball beat writers in the country. It was what he said after the small confrontation that stood out to me even more. "Reed [Johnson] put his foot in my [butt] [Monday], figuratively, not literally," Bradley said. "He got me back where I needed to be, and I talked to Billy [Williams] and Billy just told me a few mechanical things he saw."

Nick Friedell covers the team every day? Why then is this the first I've ever heard of him?

Sports radio in chi-town was all over this yesterday. They had pretty much the same take as this douche bag. I wish someone had the time to point out to some of these idiots all of the times that Sullivan has gone out of his little gnome way to be a complete douche bag to current and former Cubs players just because he did not like them. Sullivan was on record very early stating that the Bradley signing was a mistake, and then this happens.

Local sports radio and TV people are always overly nice to team beat writers because they want to have access. It's too bad no one has any balls to tell that little prick just how useless he truly is.
