let's give him some time...i have a feeling that his stat line won't be pretty but he will be money for us when we need him in the stretch.

He'll start to hit when the weather warms, like many players do.
Most guys who are known for their high OBP are gonna be "caught looking" an annoying amount of times. Why do you think managers like Dusty hate them so much? They take a lot of close pitches.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

when i was kid, the first thing i learned was that with 2 strikes, you have to protect. everyone takes a called third every now and again. bradley takes way too many. then he scowls, then he throws his bat, then he shakes his head, and then he blah blah blah. THEY'RE FUCKING STRIKES DUMBASS. QUIT BEING A FUCKING PUSSY AND SWING THE GODDAMNED BAT.
its just so fucking irritating.

I have no problem with an occasional called 3rd strike. It happens and happens more frequently with a guy that takes a lot of walks. However, it seems to me, he's been more interested in taking the walk than looking to put the ball in play. A walk is great and all, but I'm hoping my 3-4-5 hitters are looking to drive in runs more than walk. Especially when our 6-7-8 hitters aren't hitting the ball.
I got nothin'.

I agree. Same thing happened with DLee..... who now sucks again. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> He hit 32 homers(career high), 98 RBI(career high), had an .860 OPS, and was in the prime of his GG days. I'm having a hard time seeing how he sucked. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> He didn't have a bad year, but had a bad start. Remember all the Hee Sop Choi chants from the fans who were upset about the trade? His April was miserable and his May was meh. http://www.thecubdom.com/archives/2004/07/...-trade-iii.html I wasn't trying to knock Lee (except for his curent performance). I was adding to the point that most high profile guys we get struggle at the start. Add Crime Dog to that list too if I recall correctly. Hopefully Bradley gets if going on the upcoming homestand.

Perhaps Bradley should not be in a run producing spot in the lineup.

IF DLee isn't playing you can put Hoff in one of the 3-4-5 spots. ARam is out. Soto is hitting better, but still isn't on. Fox isn't on the team and has no position to play. Fuk could continue to hit in the 3 spot. Soriano isn't getting moved. I'm not sure we currently have a 4-5 hitter on this team if DLee is playing.

Perhaps Bradley should not be in a run producing spot in the lineup. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I tend to agree. He's got the approach of a #2 hitter, but the thing is, if you look at his career, he's had 90% of his AB's in the 3-4-5 spots, and a relatively small number of AB's as a #2 hitter.
