bench lee for hollywood?

Yes. I'd like to see it for a week straight just to see how he does.

Yep. I would too. Fuck this. Something needs to happen because this team as it stands is not getting the job done.

Yep, he's pretty much the only one that's been hitting during this losing streak. He's 8 for 16.

I would play Hoff over him tomorrow though against Peavy. Lee is 2 for 16 against Peavy and looked bad last week against him.

Yeah, benching Lee is not the move, he's been hitting very well and needs to keep playing to stay in the groove. It would make more sense to bench Bradley for Hoff at this point.

Moving Alf to 2nd to put Hoff in the outfield might be worth a shot to ignite the O, but def. not long term, maybe for a game or so. Hell, Call Fox up and put him at third or catcher while you're at it if it's defense be damned.

Agreed. If you're that desperate for offense, try out Fox at 3rd first. At least he's been taking groundballs at the position for a few months, unlike Alf.

We can only hope that Bradley will turn it around like Alou did after a terrible start, but he already does bring Alou's bad baserunning, etc to the table.
