Crazy thing is I thought we were going to have problems keeping him in the lineup. Never occured to me that he would not be able to hit.

The worst OPS he's put up since 2003 is .786. He's going to hit. If you really don't believe that, you're pretty much saying we're cursed.

At some point we really have to start accepting the fact that every major free agent we sign is going to have his worst year ever during his first year as a Cub. George Bell, Alou, Soriano, Fukudome, and now Bradley.

Atleast we have him for 2 more years.

... and Bradley is probably hurt.

Guess he is not hurt, just sucks still.

I agree. Same thing happened with DLee..... who now sucks again.

I wonder what he'd have to hit the rest of the season just to end at .260 or so.

It isn't as daunting as I thought. Assuming 400 AB for the season, in order to hit: .260 = .278 rest of the season .270 = .290 rest of the season .280 = .303 rest of the season .290 = .315 rest of the season

I agree. Same thing happened with DLee..... who now sucks again. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> He hit 32 homers(career high), 98 RBI(career high), had an .860 OPS, and was in the prime of his GG days. I'm having a hard time seeing how he sucked.
