Any chance he could play 3B? Scales is a good story and all (and actually hitting the ball well thus far), but Fox needs to be given a chance.
I got nothin'.

I don't think so... He's played 4 games there in his career.

12 errors in 30 games is a ton, but weren't you the person just talking about how players will make mistakes on routine plays and what not? I haven't heard anything good about Castro's defense, but I also haven't heard anything bad.

This year he has played 30 games at SS. Last year he played 21 games at SS, 20 at 2B, 5 at 3B, and 1 at CF.

Cashner is going to have to start going a little deeper into games. Like, the 4th inning.

I think they are working his arm strength up. Also, wasn't the idea for Cashner to be an immediate impact reliever. He sure could have been used for this year.

I'm a little surprised we aren't grooming him to be a 7th or 8th inning guy. We obviously could use him.

I disagree with you guys. His problem is still throwing strikes, and that's our bullpen's problem. There's nobody he should be in the pen over, except maybe the Snowman who has no business being in an MLB pen. This is a talented bunch, they just have to get the ball over the plate, and they all still do that better than Cashner does. He's not ready.
