Miles is good. Singles to leadoff the game and scores, now a 2-out 2-run double off the wall. 3-0 Cubs in the 2nd.

Yes, I'm loving Miles so far.

Is this what Yankee fans have to deal with every time they tune in to the Yes network? This is god awful, it's like the game is interupting their little conversation. Is it just cause it's an exhibition and a "first game in the new stadium" thing?

Well opening the new Yankee Stadium is kind of a big deal. That's likely why they have their opening day lineup too. I went over to the Mets game and it's the same stuff.

Their play-by-play guy sucks.

That's Michael Kay, he's known for his radio show. As a PBP guy I'm indifferent on him. Paul O'Neill is a grade-A douchebag though as the analyst. I like how HE of all people was talking about Bradley's antics. He was the biggest whiner in the league and everybody in the league knew it.

I think Kay sucks. I hate his "yankees win...whooaaa...yankees win".

This new MLB.tv player is really nice. You can watch PIP highlights (even from other games) and the live game at the same time, plus a bunch of other bells and whistles.

Yeah this MLB.TV is nice, they finally really upgraded it, hopefully the bugs from past years are gone too. Its also very nice they are showing home and away feeds for every game this year. I'll Len and Bob every day.

I'm loving Gatright, he's going to be a great weapon on this team. Singled and scored, now what looks like a routine bouncer to Jeter he beats out. Next two pitches Yankees pitch out. Then the third pitch he steals second.

I don't care what anyone says, Gathright was a good pickup.
