Cubs/Yanks - Clapp - 04-03-2009 On MLB Network and the Yes Network. Opening of the new Yankee Stadium. Miles 2B Fukudome CF Lee 1B Bradley DH Fontenot 3B Soto C Reed RF Theriot SS Gathright LF Lilly P Jeter SS Damon LF Teixeira 1B Matsui DH Posada C Cano 2B Nady RF Ransom 3B Gardner CF Wang P That looks like the Yanks' opening day lineup to me. Cubs/Yanks - jeffy - 04-03-2009 It's free to watch online via MLB.tv tonight if anyone doesn't get MLB Network, you'll just have to sign up for a free trial: http://mlb.mlb.com/mediacenter/ ^^^ the quality looks great with their new flash player too. Cubs/Yanks - jeffy - 04-03-2009 Game Day is working again now for this game as well: http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?g...mp;mode=gameday Cubs/Yanks - Clapp - 04-03-2009 Miles is good. Singles to leadoff the game and scores, now a 2-out 2-run double off the wall. 3-0 Cubs in the 2nd. Cubs/Yanks - jeffy - 04-03-2009 Yes, I'm loving Miles so far. Cubs/Yanks - Scarey - 04-03-2009 Is this what Yankee fans have to deal with every time they tune in to the Yes network? This is god awful, it's like the game is interupting their little conversation. Is it just cause it's an exhibition and a "first game in the new stadium" thing? That's likely why they have their opening day lineup too. I went over to the Mets game and it's the same stuff. Cubs/Yanks - jeffy - 04-03-2009 Their play-by-play guy sucks. As a PBP guy I'm indifferent on him. Paul O'Neill is a grade-A douchebag though as the analyst. I like how HE of all people was talking about Bradley's antics. He was the biggest whiner in the league and everybody in the league knew it. Cubs/Yanks - vegascub - 04-03-2009 I think Kay sucks. I hate his "yankees win...whooaaa...yankees win". Cubs/Yanks - jeffy - 04-03-2009 This new MLB.tv player is really nice. You can watch PIP highlights (even from other games) and the live game at the same time, plus a bunch of other bells and whistles. Its also very nice they are showing home and away feeds for every game this year. I'll Len and Bob every day. Cubs/Yanks - Clapp - 04-03-2009 I'm loving Gatright, he's going to be a great weapon on this team. Singled and scored, now what looks like a routine bouncer to Jeter he beats out. Next two pitches Yankees pitch out. Then the third pitch he steals second. Cubs/Yanks - ruby23 - 04-03-2009 I don't care what anyone says, Gathright was a good pickup. Cubs/Yanks - ruby23 - 04-03-2009 Jinx, sorta. |
