If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Sox sign Danks for 5/$65M. I'm not sure whether Kenny knows if they're trying to compete or rebuild. This makes no sense given their roster.

[/quote] I'm not sure what Danks was thinking in accepting this deal. Maybe he doesn't feel he can bounce back from his poor year and just took the money? Not saying the dollars aren't attractive, but the Sox are gonna blow almost as badly as we are for the foreseeable future. I guess KW wasn't pleased by the offers he received when shopping Danks.

Figured Beane would get a haul for Gonzalez. As tough as it would be to have to see, Theo should probably do the same for Garza.
