That was actually kind of touching. Made me think. Here's the part of the article that, to me, sums it all up:

Neifi played 14 years in the majors, made it to a World Series and made just under $21 MM playing baseball.
Maybe I'm being a dick or jealous but I'll find others to empathize than Neifi Perez.
Don't get me wrong, I've rooted for Neifi and even attempted to explain to fans that it wasn't his fault that Dusty decided to limit Derek Lee's RBI total by having Neifi bat ahead of him in the lineup. Hell, I've even shared a drink with him and Moises over at Neisi but don't ask me to feel sorry for the guy.
