Minor League Roundup - CCwinwssoon - 09-03-2009
I say make or break year for Shark next year. The only way I see him succeeding next year is as a middle reliever who has a lot of success early in the year and takes on a bigger role later in the season much like Angel Guzman this year. I just can't see him having a good year as a starter with one good pitch plus his other mediocre pitches. Even his splitter seems to have regressed.

Hak-Ju Lee and Starlin Castro are both SS, correct? It's a shame that Lee is so error-prone: I had heard that he was a plus fielder, but I guess that observation was based entirely on his arm (which is supposed to be a Dunston-like cannon).

The reports is that he is an above average fielder with the potential to be excellent. He has a cannon arm with great range. Just needs some work on the finer details on fielding such as footwork.
