If he was always a Sox fan, then fine -- whatever. I would give him a pass.

But he grew up in Evanston and was a lifelong Cubs fan. Spent a lot of time at Wrigley.

Then, in 2005, he hopped aboard the bandwagon and basically groveled at Reinsdorf's feet to get World Series tickets. And that picture rok posted says 1,000 words.

Never knew about his Sox reacharound till now. I'm a little sick.

Yup. I really liked the guy before that happened.

At least Bill Murray stayed true.

2012 - veryzer - 11-19-2009

Yeah, fuck John Cusack. I never liked any of his movies.

A lot makes sense now...BT simply has no taste. I am truly sorry sir. Have fun watching the next live Muppets adventure.

I may not care what the Sox are doing nor give shit about that team in general, but I hate fucking bandwagon fans. I have never swayed from this. Cusak can take his no acting ass to BT's next Muppets movie where he belongs.

2012 - veryzer - 11-20-2009

bz and bt...their names are similar, but that's about it. is it wrong to love them both?

extrapolate please on the whole "taste" thing. Are you going to be fucking stupid enough to claim the movies listed above suck?

And I don't get the muppets reference. Did Cusak do a string of them while I wasn't looking?

Yes and apparently it was consensual.

I'm only fucking with you.

2012 - leonardsipes - 11-21-2009

In movies like Independence day and Armageddon, the disaster scenes are a little eye candy at the beginning, and then it goes into the real story of the movie. From the trailer, it looks like 2012 shoots it load on the disaster scene, and then what is the rest of the movie about?

I am guessing 2012, starts with a long set up of Cusak running around trying to warn people, and then the destruction and his escape is the finale, but the trailer gives no idea what the dramatic content of the movie is. With Armageddon and Independence Day, while we are enjoying things getting fucked up, we are looking forward to Bruce Willis/Will Smith kicking ass later in the movie.

2012 - veryzer - 11-26-2009

So I saw this movie yesterday and just let me say that if have to have 100% plausibility in your movies, ten this isn't for you. In fact, no action movie is for you. Maybe check out "Precious" or Blind Side."

If you like eye popping special effects ad wildly entertaining action sequences, see this movie. I liked it a lot, my kids loved it, and even my wife had a good time.

Believability? Not a chance, but then, one of my all time favorite movies is "Kill Bill" and nothing in that movie was believable.

2012 - Butcher - 11-27-2009

I loved Kill Bill. My like/dislike of a film has very little to do with its realism or lack thereof.

Same here. If I required realism from all of my favorite movies, then I wouldn't love film as much as I do. I also would never watch another horror or sci-fi film ever again.
