Vitters and Harrison both went deep tonight. Anyone know anything about Harrison, he is putting up huge numbers.

He was highly touted in the draft last year. The guy is supposed to be great with the bat and brutal with the glove. Looks like the Cubs are doing everything they can to keep him at 2nd base. He's someone to keep an eye on.

That seems to be theme with all of our good prospects.

Since this is his first year above Boise I would have to think that he would not get promoted until at least half way through the year. My question though.....if he continues to hit like he is, would they try and have him skip Daytona and go straight to AA?

I would think not especially considering they have Marquez Smith at AA right now who is pounding the ball. Maybe if Smith got a AAA promotion, but that would be highly unlikely.

I wouldn't move Vitters out of A-ball this year. Let him continue to build some confidence and put a nice full season together.
