Are you calling Ace a plagiarist?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

No. Plagiarism would be regurgitating Bob's answer.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Just curious: what was Bob's answer?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
He said he thought they were interchangeable words that pretty much meant the same thing. No joke.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I remember during ST that they were talking about this, and Len gave Ace's argument and BB agreed.

Probably because he didn't give a shit.

Command versus Control - kbwsb - 04-17-2010

Curt Schilling was once talking about a game he pitched (I think on his blog) and he defined it similarly to what Ace and BT said: control is throwing strikes (throwing the ball over the plate), command is a bit more about pitching to <i>specific parts of the plate</i>.

In fact, he talked about being wanting to pitch to, say, the upper right quadrant of the plate when A-Rod had a 2-1 count on him, and he said that the difference between him pitching well or poorly depended upon whether he could hit those spots.
