Dodgers have one of the top rosters including starting rotations in baseball and it showed

Cubs made 2 errors and pitchers walked far too many. Cubs averaged over 20 pitches an inning. Nuts

Cub bats eeked out a total of 3 hits but did score a run against some great pitching with Amaya producing a RBI. 1-7 with runners in scoring position is not going to win many games

No clue what if anything you can take away from the opener other than yup the Dodgers have a great roster - and that was without Betts and Freeman playing
