Didn’t we play this out last year?  Every time fans start believing that the team is good, the team’s true colors would shine and the roster’s lack of MLB talented players would shine.  

The Cubs 2023 roster is significantly better than their 2022 model but still has a number of issues.  Team could be good but more likely as constructed a 500 ball club.  

Let’s celebrate the wins, forget about the losses, hope team stays healthy, holes in roster aren’t exposed too often, and that the beer remains cold.  Go Cubs

Maybe the Dodgers aren’t as great as people think. Also maybe the Cubs are a decent club.

We really got the benefit of 3-4 terrible strike calls at the end of the game. That was a fun series.
