Anyone attending tomorrow evening’s concert at United Center? 

Buddy’s bday so just got tix from him

Hadn’t seen Rage Against the Machine since either the ‘90’s or early ‘00’s so was pleasantly surprised by how good their performance was - still lots of energy and attention to detail - which seem to go out the window as bands age

Run the Jewels was solid but they still missed high expectations. Was less excited at Rage than RTJ so it’s more likely missed high expectations than performance lacking

I saw the show at Alpine Valley. It was awesome. RTJ was good, but the crowd was clearly there for Rage. I’ve seen RTJ a bunch of times — they seem to always be on the festival circuit. But it was awesome to see Rage. They were in peak form.
