Mostly agree, honestly i think their pursuit of him is overblown right now.  Don't think they'll go all out for him.

I mean, if you want to tell me that he signs an extension with the Cubs as part of the deal, then I'm all in, but not for the rental.

I'm not sold on Russell, but that's way too high a cost for a few months of Manny. If he signs, then sure, but that's not guaranteed. That said, please keep him away from the Cardinals.

Giants have 3/5 of projected starters on DL. Expected that the veteran approach to roster would hurt them but assumed aging position players would be issue
